Annual Meeting - 2002

The 3rd Annual Meeting of the Texas Aggie Bar Association began by members renewing friendships and swapping tall tales.

The first CLE meeting discussed crisis management in light of various disasters that we have faced in the past and could face in the future.

Our next CLE session included active ethics participation where we tallied and discussed our responses to ethical dilemmas in an entertaining environment.

The Meeting adjourned to John and Daisy White's residence in College Station for an evening of enjoyment and barbeque.

A highlight of the evening was presenting one of our most distinguished A&M graduates and one of the founders of Bracewell & Patterson, Mr. Searcy Bracewell, for a lifetime of service as "Aggie Lawyer of the Year."

Saturday morning included a session on bankruptcy for non-bankruptcy attorneys.

The CLE concluded with a session on managing dynamic websites for business potential.

The official business portion of the Annual Meeting was also enjoyed and continues to establish the vitality of the Texas Aggie Bar Association.

Various undergraduate students presented their involvement on the A&M Campus in preparation for a legal career.

The Annual Meeting concluded with a festive evening at a quaint restaurant in College Station known as Remedies, which is served by invitation only.
